A Revised Budwig Diet?

Just the other day, I got an interesting message from Dr. Ken Singleton. Dr. Ken and his wife discussed
her cancer with me a few days ago. Dr. Ken is an M.D., but an unusual one. He is very well informed
about holistic healing and alternative treatments. As most of you know, almost everything I learn and
pass on to you comes from readers and listeners like you and Dr. Ken.
His message really started me thinking. He pointed out a website to me where a gentleman named Duncan
Crow (who I hadn't heard of) had an interesting article. Mr. Crow, who characterizes himself as a
"Wholistic Consultant," has written an intriguing and well-documented thesis on the need to revise and
update the Budwig diet (specifically cottage cheese and flaxseed oil (CC/FO)).
Now most of you know that this mixture is at the core of the healing regimen I recommend in my book
"Cancer-Free." Many hundreds of people I know have used it and gotten over their cancers. I have
eaten it every day for seven and a half years. There is no question that it works.
However, what Duncan Crow has done is explained why there might be evidence generated since Dr. Budwig's
research was done in the 50's and 60's that shows an even better combination. This combination does the
same thing -- revises the cell membranes to make them more "permeable" -- but uses different substances.
As you'll see, his thesis is quite well documented. Take a look.

Bottom line is this: Much research has been done on "lipids" (the use of fats in our body) since Dr.
Budwig first studied it. There may be reason to believe that some different combination is even more
effective than the CC/FO at healing cancer. This may be particularly useful information for people who
experience digestive problems eating the CC/FO mixture.
So, where to from here? Well, I'm going to be your guinea pig -- as usual. For the next couple of months,
I'm going to try using a combination of ImmunoCal (a whey protein product) and an emulsified salmon oil to
see if the effects are noticeably better than the CC/FO. I know one thing. This combination is more
expensive. The oil is about the same price as the flaxseed oil, but the ImmunoCal is grossly over-priced
because it is sold only by multi-level marketing. I really am loath to recommend products like this because
they cost so much more than necessary.
But, hey. I'll try it and let you know the results. For the time being, read Duncan Crow's article. But
before you make any changes in your eating regimen, let me try it and report the results to you. Look for

I like to report success stories to you and here's a good one. Kyle Nienberg, who labels himself as
"researcher" sent me this e-mail.
"Four years ago my wife's scan showed twelve 1/8th inch white spots on her pancreas. Six months
later a second scan was clear. Here's what she took to accomplish the cure. This great cancer cure
product is Artemisinin. It turns into hydrogen peroxide inside the cells. It does not harm normal
cells. Cancer cells grab as much iron as they can hold. When the Artemesinin gets into the cancer
cell and changes to hydrogen peroxide, the cancer cell explodes. You need to take this product at
the dose of two capsules per day for two years. This will insure that all the cancer is gone. You
should also take powdered calcium lactate, to tolerance, to mop up dead cells for the rest of your
life.

Easy Fat Burnoff

Are you fed up (no pun intended) with diets that promise much and deliver nothing but a "yo-yo"
weight loss and regain? Me, too. Here's some information from my wife, Terry, and me which will
hopefully get your attention.
My friend, Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby, the medical professional I admire the most, told me several months
ago about how he easily burned off 40 unnecessary pounds of fat. Considering the source, my wife and
I sat up and took notice. He told me what he used and we ordered it. We started on the program on
February 22nd this year. At the time, I weighed 205 pounds and Terry weighed (don't tell her I told
you) 152. As of this morning, I now weigh 189 and Terry weighs 134.
What did we do? Starve? Fast? Grit our teeth and eat nothing? No. In fact, we both enjoyed it
very much. We absolutely never felt hungry for the whole 23 days on the program. We have both been
at these, our target weights, for over ten days now. We feel fine. We are quite confident that we will
not gain it back.
So, how does it work? Well, it's really quite simple. Three times a day, you take a few drops of a
homeopathic liquid these people furnish you. It completely blocks any hunger pangs. Then, each day,
you eat just about 500 calories. In one meal? No, all day. How do you do that? Well, it's surprisingly
easy. You just eat two meals a day of a small portion of a protein (fish or chicken) and a vegetable
(usually raw). Twice a day, you eat a piece of fruit and once a day, you eat a couple of crackers.
That's it. Simple, easy -- and VERY EFFECTIVE.
What is happening is your body, which, of course, needs around 2,000 to 2,500 calories a day to operate,
begins burning your stored fat for its energy needs from the first day on. After the three weeks (there
are two "setup" days at the front where you stuff yourself), your metabolism is reset to your new size
and weight. You've lost the cravings that were causing you to gain weight. You can then resume a normal,
sensible diet. You then simply watch your weight every day. If you gain a pound, you have a "steak day"
that day where all you eat is one piece of lean meat for the whole day.
If you need to lose more than 18-20 pounds, you can continue the program for another 17 days. There is
a 23-day program (the one we did) and a 40-day program. Of course, you can repeat either program, if
you like. The cost for the 23-day program is $89. The 40-day program is a little more.
Obviously, this is not totally compatible with the eating regimen I recommend for cancer patients. You
are eating a small (3.5 ounces) serving of animal protein (fish or chicken) twice a day. This is necessary
to give you enough in the 500 calories to maintain your energy level.
In short, folks, if you have any concerns about overweight, this is the thing for you. I have no financial

A Reader's Story -- Clark Fisher

Clark Fisher has an interesting story of determination and perseverance in helping his brother with his cancer.
Many of us experience resistance from family members. Clark's experience will resonate with many of you.
"Hi Bill,
My story is quite a frustrating one and ongoing. It includes all the usual parts that make up most of what you
must receive via e-mail. Cancer (Brain cancer), alternative therapy, silly doctors, etc.
What I do not hear or read much about is my main problem at this point. It is my brother that has ‘terminal’
brain cancer. I absolutely believe he can beat it. His wife thinks I am trying to kill him. She actually told
me that. I had to threaten to kidnap him to take him to get his root canals and mercury fillings out (he was
diagnosed with brain cancer a year after his third and most recent root canal). It is difficult because I
live seven hours from my brother.
The challenge is that she has my brother nearly convinced that the oncologist is his only hope – which she is
starting to understand is no hope. Sound confusing?
Unfortunately I had to wait until there was a bit of desperation to convince him to give alternative therapies
a try. I am at his house now. Things are getting interesting as I have him only consuming freshly cold-pressed
vegetable and fruit juice. This after we both did a liver flush together. His wife is really upset because
she is brainwashed and rather simple minded thinking meat and potatoes will keep his strength up. I also have
him using a magnetic pulser, silver colloid and a silver pulser sometimes. I have him stay away from the silver
pulser when his wife makes him take steroids and anti-seizure drugs. Frustrating. I keep telling myself that his
wife means well, but it is easy to see how Big Pharma has such a grip on the masses. Keep us scared and stupid
seems to be their mantra. I am sure that will change someday.
Also had him doing the Budwig diet for a month.
The real challenge is that he seemed to be getting worse and it scared him and his wife into stopping Budwig. I
believe it was simply the Herxheimer effect [cancer cell "die-off"]. A bit more tricky dealing with the brain
as swelling can cause symptoms. He continues to get worse and is likely convinced he will perish.
I even read that some healers will not waste time on people like him because if the individual does not believe
they can get better, they usually find ways to go ahead and die – no matter how much you try to help them. I
doubt many people will truly understand this until they experience it.
It is causing him a great deal of stress being pulled in different directions by his wife and myself. But I
can’t give up on him. The only alterative to me helping him is obviously his demise. Though of course stress
has a negative effect on the body and can delay or even stop healing. I have been walking a thin line trying
to do what is best for his recovery.
I seem to remember reading about you dealing with this a bit with people close to you as you could not get them
to listen to the very thing that could save them.
This is only day three of juicing. Also have him on Cell Food, 10 grams of vitamin C, Selenium, MSM, Turmeric,
and as much ozone water and air as I can get into him. Considering oral H2O2 therapy, H2O2 heated bath, potassium,
rubidium, cesium and now especially considering the pure maple syrup/pure baking soda treatment I saw in one of
your newsletters. Considering taking it straight and putting it in capsules too. Boy, does that make good sense.
Trying to learn more about the lack of hydrocortisone (cortisol) and that effect on the body due to stress. Also
just read something about cooked asparagus.
My brother and I certainly have not had easy lives, but this is by far the most difficult thing we both have gone
through. But, a saying I seem to live by is, ‘Nothing worth doing is easy.
Keep doing what you are doing...you are obviously one of the special people on this planet."

niece, who is 55 years old, was just diagnosed with a brain tumor last week. She absolutely wants to do nothing
but "trust her doctor." I'm biting my lip.

supplements, congratulations! Your effort worked. Senator McCain has withdrawn his bill. He was apparently
embarrassed at the hundreds of thousands of messages people like you sent to their Senators. He apparently was
not even aware of what was in his own bill. Anyway, the "Dietary and Supplement Safety Act of 2010" is dead and
you helped kill it! Who said we couldn't affect our legislators.
