Allergic to casein - milk protein

Yes, I have read both the 2nd and 3rd editions and have found them most helpful. Your ad for the book came as a email, I'm not sure how, but I liked the title Cancer Free. I felt it was a positive approach. I've seen titles like the battle against cancer or the war against cancer ect. and believe what you resist persits. But what really grabbed my attention was the blurb that "It's normal to heal from cancer". I received your book and started reading it immediately and four days latter landed in the hospital with a bleeding ulcer on a tumor in my stomach. I immediately started the protocol even though it was never diagonosed as cancer. (no biopsy was done) I was shceduled for robotic surgery a month later but the tumor was gone when the surgons went to get it. Several months later, out of curriosity, I did the HCG test and learned there was cancer and have continued following the protocol faithfully since.

I am a massage therapist and I share your book with everyone I know has cancer. The 2 accupunctists in my office is now doing the same, as well as the CranioSacral therapist. I have no idea how many people have been helped by your book because of that "fluke" email, but the #'s are way up there and some of the stories have been amazing. God works in mysterious ways!

Thank you for all your work and willingness to share with all of us.

I have been following the protocol for a year and a half and my #'s have been slowly coming down, but I still have bouts of gastritis and am still not in the normal range. So I did some allergy testing and found that I'm not only gluten sensitive (which I have not eaten since starting) but also allergic to casein. I am wondering if there is an alterternative to the dairy? I was told it is the combination of sulfur and protein in the cottage cheese that makes it work. Would a hard boiled egg work then since it has that combination as well?
I believe in this protocol and know it works but feel there has been something keeping it from progressing as fully as it could. I also wonder about the barley greens since barley is on the no no list for gluten. I know I'm not the only one out there with these issues. Could you please address this?

Thank you,
Jan Hutson

Hi Jan,

Thanks for your help in "spreading the word."

Common question about the dairy qualities of the cottage cheese. When it is mixed with the flaxseed oil, the cottage cheese loses all its dairy properties (casein, lactose). I know dozens of people who are "lactose intolerant" who take this mixture every day with no problems. The reason is that the mixture of these two substances forms a unique molecule. It makes the oil water soluble (much more bio-available) and it erases the dairy properties of the cottage cheese. It is important to mix them well -- either in a blender or in a bowl using an "immersion blender" for this reason.

As for the Barley Power, it is not the barley grain. These little green pills are made from the leaves of the yound barley plants. They have no relationship, at least as to their effect on the body, to the barley grain. You should avoid the barley grain (because of the gluten), but everyone should take the Barley Power pills every day. I know of nothing that has more health advantages -- unless it is the CC/FO mixture.

Cheers!
