Bought the book recently as my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer 2009. He has a Gleason 9 and his psa was around 50. He has had no symptoms and his condition was diagnosed after a routine check up. He is 73 years old this year but very well and fit for his age.
We live in the UK and have to use the National Health service so we have no say in his treatment nor do we get his reports or have any choice of doctor. We see whoever is on duty when we go for his check ups and we are in and out in 10 mins flat. The hormone tablets he was on for 1 year had no real effect and in Feb this year he had an injection to lower his hormones and is due another soon.
I got him the book in order that we could have some say and control over this situation. Love the book and have implemented many of your ideas. I would recommend this book for anyone who has cancer and wants to regain their hope.
I have also read up on the internet that melatonin is very beneficial for cancer sufferers and people undergoing conventional treatment. Some good Canadian studies and some doctors advise patients to take it as it's good for chemo side effects.
Best wishes and keep up the good work.
God bless you all.
