Lorie Levison

Hi Bill
First, thank you for this information that is turning my life around. I have been doing lots of natural things for the leukemia I was diagnosed with a year ago.Not only does your book give a much more comprehensive, integrated program, but it gives more hope than anything or anyone I've come across.

This is not a testimonial, just a note on my experience for you.

Last year, at the onset, I began working with the Centre for Natural Healing in Ashland OR, a very reputable and knowledgable place dealing primarily in herbs, botanicals and supplements. They got me on a program that has probably kept me alive this long, and through one round of chemo (which I have now sworn off forever. It almost killed me yet they want to "try again"?). One of the things I started taking last year was artemisinin. He told me it was toxic, that it was a natural chemo in effect. I was given directions for a very specific increasing dosage. Every other week was off, in order to not build up too much toxin in the body.

I only weigh about 85 pounds, I've been paralyzed from spinal cord injury for 40 years, and so there's no muscle mass and limited circulation in my legs and lower body. Still, I'm healthy.

Anyway, the first week went fine, then I skipped a week, and began an increased dosage the third week. Within a day or two I was feeling very sick - my energy had plunged and I was so nauseous (not vomiting) I could not swallow food down. I was lined up to do chemo in a few weeks, and I figured this is what it would be like. But the next day it was so bad I found myself thinking, maybe it would be better to stop eating and die.

My acupuncturist suggested I stop all the supplements, since I had just begun so many different ones. So I did, for a couple of days, had an IV vitamin C and began to feel better. I had probably lost 5 pounds in 3 days, which I couldn't really afford. It turned out to be the artemisinin, which I never returned to.

I tell you this only because you say in the book that it is completely non-toxic. that was not my experience, and it was also not the information I received from this herbalist. Do you think it was just my rare and individual experience?

Anyway, I'm pretty much replacing my old protocol with yours, and very excited. The hardest work I think is really uprooting the fear that says I will die before it can work. I'm replacing those thoughts with ones that say it might take a little while, but I will certainly live and begin getting stronger every day. I'm really not doing too bad. Staying away from doctors at this point, because now that I know I will not do chemo anymore, there is no need to deal with them. They always scare me anyway!

Thanks again for all the help. I have a friend I shared the book with and we are both full speed ahead, which is great because we can laugh about things (like, how can we ever eat a meal if everything has to be on an empty stomach? or Hurray! I got down the full serving of FOCC and didn't gag!) It helps a lot to keep the humor in all this. And the gratitude.

Many blessings on your work and your family and YOU!

Best wishes

Lorie
