Cancer Workshop in Asheville, August 18, 2006
***********************************
Those of you within traveling distance of Asheville, North Carolina may
want to attend a workshop I'm giving here on Friday, August 18th, 2006.
Entitled "Beating Cancer - Gently," this workshop has proven very
popular here and around the country. I will explain what I believe
cancer is and how to treat it successfully. The treatment also works
for prevention, not just of cancer. Not surprisingly, a sound prevention
routine prevents all degenerative conditions.
The workshop is free, as always. I do take up a "love offering" for Linda
Myers, the wonderful lady who owns the facility where I present these
workshops. It is All About Healing located at 329 Merrimon Ave. in Asheville (about one
mile North of I-240 on the right side of Merrimon). We start at 7:00 PM.
We finish at 9:00 PM and I always reserve at least 40 minutes for
questions. Hope to see you there.

Vitamin C IV (Cont'd.)
*****************
At the end of the first article in my last newsletter on "Prostate Cancer
Treatment Using Vitamin C IV," I wrote the following:
"One comment: If you're taking the Flaxseed Oil and Cottage Cheese treatment,
you will need to discontinue it while you are taking the IVC treatment. The
FO/CC is an 'oxidant' (surrounds the cells with oxygen), while the IVC is an
'antioxidant.' The two tend to cancel each other out."
Wellll....it's not the first time that this author has had to get busy
scraping the egg off his face. Shortly after that article appeared, I got
the following e-mail from Dr. Neil Riordan, which I think you'll find
interesting:
"Subject: Re: Cancer-Free Newsletter, June 24th, 2006
To: Bill Henderson
Dear Bill,
Thanks for continuing to produce the great newsletter. I have been following
it for some time. We spoke briefly a few years ago on the phone.
Regarding this newsletter on vitamin C and cancer, I would comment that high
dose intravenous vitamin C acts as a pro-oxidant rather than an antioxidant.
This is a misconception by many and has been fodder for standard medicine's
argument that you not treat a patient with vitamin C while they are undergoing
oxidative chemo or radiation. The same reasoning would apply to the Budwig
protocol--it would not counteract the pro-oxidant effects of vitamin C--there
is no contra-indication.
If you are interested I could send you some of the 30 plus scientific articles
about vitamin C and cancer that the Center for the Improvement of Human
Functioning (the foundation my father, Hugh Riordan, MD, started 30 years ago)
has published. We were the first to demonstrate that concentrations of vitamin
C high enough to kill cancer cells could be achieved in humans (1995). This
work was confirmed ten years later by Levine et al at the National Institutes
of Health. Also of interest is the publication 2 months ago of 3 cases of
cancer who had a successful outcome with intravenous vitamin C. This was co-
authored by NIH scientists.
The Center in Wichita has given many thousands of intravenous vitamin C infusions
without any serious side effects. If you know of doctors interested in our
protocol there, I would be glad to send it to you. My doctoral dissertation was
entitled, 'The Potential Role of Ascorbic Acid and its Salts in the Management
of Malignant Diseases.' I would be happy to share it with interested doctors
and scientists--it encompasses the majority of the work on vitamin C done at
the Center during my tenure there--it also contains some interesting otherwise
unpublished data such as the ability of IVC to 'glue' prostate cancer cells in
place.
My clinic in the Bahamas has been using IVC in combination with personalized
cancer vaccines for years without serious side effects.
I hope all is well and keep up the great work!

Thank you, Dr. Riordan, for setting me straight. Obviously, there is no problem
with combining the intravenous Vitamin C treatment with almost any other treatment,
including certainly the flaxseed oil and cottage cheese, my favorite treatment.
If you are interested in pursuing the Vitamin C IV therapy, I suggest you contact
Dr. Riordan or his staff at either of the above locations.

Advice On The HCG Urine Cancer Test
******************************
As many of you know, I have been recommending the HCG Urine Cancer Test done at
the Navarro Medical Clinic in Manila, The Philippines for over a year now. Many
of you have tried it and everyone I've heard from has been very satisfied with
the results. If you aren't familiar with this very useful and inexpensive test,
please read the article "Update On The Navarro Urine Cancer Test" in my July 19th,
2005 newsletter. You will find it at:
http://www.Beating-Cancer-Gently.com/nl81.html
In early June, with my wife in Spain visiting her relatives and with some time on
my hands, I decided to try this test myself. As you know, I don't have cancer, but
I wanted to try out the mechanics of the test so I could talk to people I counsel
on the phone with more conviction and authority. Soooo, on June 10th, I sent off
my urine sediment sample to the Navarro Clinic. As of today, it has not arrived
there. Ooops! What happened? Well, I sent it by regular First Class Mail, partly
as an experiment and mostly because of ignorance. About four weeks later, having
gotten no response, I asked the clinic by e-mail "What happened?" Here's the
response I got from Dr. E. F. Navarro, the Doctor who runs the clinic:
"Subject: Re: HCG Test
From: efnavmed@compass.com.ph
To: cancer-free@charter.net
Dear Bill,
I have not yet received your sample you sent on June 10. A normal mail
coming from the US arrives after approximately 3 weeks. It is possible
that it is still in transit. Mails sent by Global Priority mail (US
Postal) takes 10 to 12 days. Mails sent by Fed Ex arrive after 3 to 4
days. Once the specimen is received, work starts and the result is e-mailed
the following day. It is possible that your specimen is still in transit.
However, I am keeping track because if the specimen is a month old by the
time it arrives, deterioration of the HCG starts and the result is no
longer reflective of the true reading. Therefore, I suggest to patients
that a new specimen be sent and will be done free of charge. I will e-mail
you ASAP as per its arrival.
Best regards,
E. F. Navarro, MD"
Obviously, First Class Mail is far from the "first class" way to send your sample.
My guess (haven't tried it yet) is that Global Priority Mail costs about $10 or
$12. On Monday of this week, I sent my wife's first test (she doesn't have cancer,
but asked me to do one for her for peace of mind) by FedEx. According to both
Dr. Navarro and the FedEx people, her sample should arrive at the clinic in Manila
tomorrow (Thursday). If Dr. Navarro is correct about their processing time, we
should have the results in our e-mail on Friday (day after tomorrow). The cost?
Exactly $45.47. Worth it? It certainly depends on how anxious you are about the
results. I know people who have thrown a party the day they received their results.

PARENTS BEWARE....
In case you haven't read it yet, here's the hair-raising story of a parent
forced (with jail time inolved) to submit her child to chemotherapy. If you're
like me and find this both outrageous and worth fighting for, please contact
your Congressperson and anyone else you think would be productive about this
abomination. Here's the quote and link from Mike Adams "News Target."
"Freeze! Submit to surgery or we'll shoot!
Sounds absurd, doesn't it? But a 34-year-old mother in Seattle has
been arrested, jailed and charged with 'kidnapping' her own infant son
after she tried to rescue him from overzealous surgeons who demanded
to perform kidney surgery on the boy.
'You do what I tell you to do, or I will have the police at the door,
taking that baby from you.' That's what one doctor reportedly told the
woman, shortly before Child Protective Services took her baby away.
Read the story that's fast becoming a national outrage:

FREE (?) POLYMVA AVAILABLE
Here's an e-mail I received a few days ago from John Phibbs. If you're
interested in getting some of the "leftover" PolyMVA, please contact John
(not me) at his e-mail address below. I honestly don't know any more about this than what's in the
message.

Bill,
Hi this is John Phibbs from Tulsa Oklahoma. I wanted you to know that my good
friend Jim Day passed on June 19th. He fought Multiple Myeloma for 4 years and
lost his battle. Jim was a big believer in your book and therapies you suggested.
He has many bottles of Poly MVA that he never used. I don't know if you know
someone who could use this product to help fight their cancer.
We don't want to throw it away.
Thank you
John Phibbs"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, enough for now. And don't forget my bribe. Send me your story about your
cancer experience -- good, bad or neutral -- and I'll send you a free copy of my
e-book "Cancer-Free." Your story may help many other people. Just let me know
if you want me to include your name or e-mail address when I publish it in the
newsletter. I will certainly respect your privacy.
Do your friends a favor and send them to my web site:
