Please note further information regarding Leonardis Clinic. The clinic is closing end of June 2010, and we as patients who returned here on Saturday 12th, were only given the news when we arrived, by one of the patients. Since your testimonial, things hae deteriorated badly. When we arrived in April, there were only 2 doctors (one for each shift) and the oncologist was visiting once a week. There was only nurse available per shift, and very few patients. There were maybe 4 or so visitors during our entire five week stay. All the staff and the doctors were given two weeks notice and when the doctor told us, he had tears in his eyes. It has been run into the ground by the manager there. The building itself is in a serious state of disrepair. However, the staff and the doctors have been wonderful and we have had results but we now cannot say where we will continue our treatment. My husband is only on his third round of treatment. Very unfair on all concerned, and very heartbreaking as it used to be a first class facility. The manager insists he is closing it to refurbish it, but where will he get the patients and the doctors from. All the staff, doctors and patients are aware he is lying.
