Ron Kolb, Captain (retired), Delta Air Lines
Mr. Henderson. I've enjoyed your book, having first read the abbreviated edition peior to ordering the complete version. I'm following your recommendations, having stopped chemo because of the apparent lack of effectiveness. I've got pelvic and abdominal Pleomorphic Sarcoma with a Mixoid background...each about 7cm. I'm also incorporating the cocktail recommended by Bill Peeples. have two questions.
1. Since we are to avoid all sugars, and knowing that glucose is sugar, why do you recommend the Beta Glucose, which I've taken...four bottles so far? Is the following from their site supposedly the explanation?
"To maximize the benefits of Beta Glucan, it should always be taken on an empty stomach, with water. Wait at least 30 minutes before eating or drinking. Simple sugars would be broken down in the digestive system, converted into glucose, and used for energy. This does not occur with a complex carbohydrate like Beta Glucan. This polysaccharide is carried across the lining of the small intestine into the lymphatic system via M (microfold) cells in the Peyer's Patches. From the lymphatic system, the Beta Glucan is carried by phagocytes throughout the immune system and bone marrow. This provides for complete systemic activation of your immune system."
2. The Green Supreme people refer to a "Basic food list for cancer patients" Can you guide me in acquiring this? Finding foods that have no carbs (sugar), sugar, etc is a very difficult and confusing chore for my wife and for me. I'm taking a white bean extract to coat the carbs and help them to be excreted rather than breaking down and creating sugar.
Thanks for your information. I'm counting on success here.

Dear Ron,
Beta Glucan has nothing to do with the glucose in sugar that is harmful to cancer. I suggest you call the folks at Green Supreme to get their "basic food list." You can contact them at (800) 358-0777 (Eastern Time).
