Cruisin’ Was Great

Since we got home from the wonderful cruise on February 19th, we have been glowing. It was a truly delightful experience. Terry and I met 34 people who joined Dr. Carlos Garcia, Dr. John Lubecki and me in several all-day seminars and one two-hour “experience sharing” session. We were delighted for the chance to get to know Dr. Garcia and his beautiful wife, Tracy.

During this enchanting week on the Celebrity Eclipse, we all decided that this was the First ANNUAL “You Can Heal Yourself Cruise.” We will definitely do it again. Shari Marsh, our skilled coordinator and cruise agent, did a wonderful job of organizing the cruise and getting information to those who joined us on it. Most of these 34 people I had met on the phone and it was truly delightful to get to know them well during this week.

Dr. Lubecki presented an enormous amount of intriguing information about his experience with healing. He had to leave us in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the first stop, to return to commitments in his practice. Dr. Garcia and I enjoyed about 15 hours of sharing our variety of healing experience with the group. The informal atmosphere allowed a lot of interchange. Many of the participants had experience with healing cancer. On the third night, while we were docked in St. Maarten, six of them shared their healing experience with the others and responded to questions.

We made audio recordings of the presentations. If you’re interested in getting a link where you can listen to them, just send an e-mail to Shannon works in Dr. Garcia’s office.

All in all, it was a very positive experience for all of us. We will definitely do it again.

Something New For You — Honokiol

If you’ve read my book, you know that my initial inspiration to delve into natural cancer healing came from Dr. David Williams and his “Alternatives” newsletter in 1998. Just the other day, his March, 2011 issue (part of his 25th year of these newsletters) really got my attention. I’d like to share this with you.

You can find out about Dr. Williams’ monthly newsletter at his website, which is: I will summarize the lead article for you because I think some of you may want to try this substance. It is called honokiol (rhymes with Pinocchio with an -ol at the end: ho-noh-key-ol).

Honokiol is one of several polyphenols that have been isolated from the bark and seed cones of the magnolia tree. Along with magnolol, another polyphenol from the magnolia tree, it has been used in several Japanese and Chinese formulas to treat asthma and digestive disorders. Just in the last few years, researchers have been isolating honokiol and determining what other biological activity it might have.

Here’s what Dr. Williams says about this effort:

“As I tracked and reviewed this research data, I found the amount and variety of beneficial activity stemming from this one compound is staggering, particularly when it comes to treating cancer.

Preliminary work…has shown that honokiol does exactly what you want a cancer therapy to do. It turns off cell division in some cancer cells, and in others it induces them to kill themselves (a process called apoptosis). Honokiol promotes antiangiogenisis — that is, stopping the formation of new blood vessels that feed a tumor, effectively starving the tumor.

Honokiol has exhibited these properties so far in the following cancers: myeloma, sarcoma, colon, lung, bladder, ovarian, esophageal, breast, and prostate. One study found that prostate cancer cells that failed to respond to hormone withdrawal treatments underwent apoptosis (cell death) when honokiol was given (Cancer 07;109:1279-1289).

…unlike most polyphenols, it can cross the blood-brain barrier. This alone opens up the ability to treat primary brain tumors, as well as cancers that have metastasized.

…As an Alternatives reader, you’re learning about honokiol long before most doctors or the general public. Right now only a handful of researchers are even aware of honokiol. They are working in just a few laboratories overseas and a couple here in the US.”

What got my attention and made my decision to pass this on to you is that a product with 98% honokiol in it has just been put on the market. I have absolutely no financial interest in this product, but it reminded me of artemisinin, which I introduced to you several years ago. Artemisinin had been used for many years to treat malaria and had just been found to be as useful for cancer. Honokiol is similar. It has been used safely in various compounds to treat asthma and digestive disorders. But until just the last few weeks, it had not been available in a concentrated enough form to have the above healing characteristics for cancer.

HonoPure is this product. It is now available from a source I trust. This is EcoNugenics, the company formed by Dr. Isaac Eliaz, M.D., a respected holistic physician in Santa Rosa California. Santa Rosa seems to be a magnet for holistic healers, much like Asheville, North Carolina where we used to live. You will find more information about HonoPure at

It is not cheap. A bottle of 120 of the 250mg capsules sells for $99. If you buy several bottles at once, the price comes down to as low as $71 a bottle — still not cheap. Dr. Williams suggests a therapeutic dose for those with active cancers of 1 gram (four capsules), 3 times/day, with food. One of the bottles would last just 10 days — or a cost of over $210 a month, at least. Much cheaper than chemotherapy, but it may be too expensive for you. His recommended “long-term maintenance” dose is 500 mg (two capsules), twice daily, with food. If using it just for prevention, the dose can be about half that.

Take a look at the website and think it over. It may be worth a month or two of trial. It certainly sounds like a wonderful treatment option. If you try it, I’d really appreciate some feedback.

Here’s Another One — Aloe Arborescens

I was just rereading a wonderful book by my friend Bob Wright called “Killing Cancer-Not People.” It has been out for about a year, but Bob is just about to publish a “Second Edition.” He covers a substance in his book which all of you should be aware of. It is called “aloe arborescens.”

I’ll let you know later in March when Bob’s new update is available. Meanwhile, I want to share this product with you. Most of what Bob writes about in his book I’m familiar with. This one I was not. Check it out. Here is a quote on this subject from Bob Wright’s book to give you an idea of this book’s value:

“Most people have heard of aloe and some still keep a potted aloe vera plant for the purpose of slathering its healing gel on a burn or abrasion, but very few know of aloe arborescens – even though the first record of its pharmacological use was found on a Sumeric tablet dating back to 2100 B.C. Aren’t we paying attention (sorry)? With this derivative of aloe, there is a long history of study, research and use – but you can review that at another time. What you need to know right now is that this variety of aloe is said to have a 300% stronger curative potential than aloe vera.

Father Romano Zago, a Brazilian Catholic Friar, is the one generally credited with bringing the knowledge about aloe arborescens to the world. His is another interesting story about unselfish service and dutiful research, and he has recently forwarded this life changing preparation and written about how to make and administer the healing concoction.

His original formula consists of juice from organically grown and timely harvested (five-year-old) aloe arborescens leaves, unheated, pesticide-free raw honey, and 1% certified organic alcohol for effective absorption. Dosage calls for 2-3 tablespoons per day consumed 20-30 minutes before a meal on an empty stomach. It can be taken for ten days on and ten days off – or steadily until the condition is resolved (cancer). You can find the story of this incredible product and the original recipe (in Father Zago’s own words) at or by purchasing his book, “Cancer Can Be Cured,” at Also, you can find excellent information about this extract and homeopathic solution at the following website page:

Aloe arborescens is an anti-inflammatory, pain inhibitor, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, immune system builder – and the rest of the list of its health-inducing properties is many pages long. It contains 4 times as many enzymes as aloe vera, 20 amino acids, and is a virtual cornucopia of essential minerals and vitamins.

If I had cancer (or not), I would immediately acquire and begin ingesting this supplement. Make it yourself or find a good source. Deca Aloe Arborescens U.S., markets the original formula that is endorsed by Father Zago. Actually, the Deca Arborescens Galenia® mixture is the only brand that is authorized to carry Father Zago’s signature and picture on the label to vouch for the authenticity of the exacting recipe. You can procure their product, Galenia® Aloe Arborescens, through their website at the following address:”

Check it out, folks. It’s just another option for you.

Univera Product of the Month — Rhythmatix

Heart disease in all its forms is a killer right up there with cancer. Many of the people I work with in my coaching service for cancer patients also have various heart problems. If I were you, whether I had visible heart problems or not, I would try a truly effective Univera product called Rhythmatix.

This is a mixture of high doses of B vitamins (B-6, B-12 and Folic Acid), Omega-3 Fatty Acids (EPA and DHA), Resveratrol (which I’ve written about recently), CoEnzyme Q-10 (vital for heart health), and a patented Univera compound called UniBEX. The 120 softgels are about a 30-day supply at the recommended dose of two capsules twice daily with meals.

Like all the Univera products, the company cannot make healing claims because of FDA restrictions. However, this one has helped lots of heart patients reduce the clogging in their arteries and relieve all kinds of heart disease symptoms. It simply works.

Like all Univera products, it is the result of many years of research, including double blind, placebo- controlled human clinical studies. Like all Univera products, it carries a 90-day moneyback guarantee. If you find it doesn’t help you after three months of trial, you just send the empty bottles back for a full refund. I’m looking at a certificate right now signed by Bill Lee, the billionaire owner of Univera, where he vows that this is a serious promise of satisfaction to Univera customers. There is no risk.

In the way of full disclosure, I am affiliated with Univera and make a small commission when you buy any of their products. It that doesn’t keep you from trying this one, just go to hendersons.myunivera.comand order some. If you prefer to call in your order, just dial their Customer Care at (877) 627-4787. You’ll need to give them my Univera number, which is 1401551. Try it. You’ll be very glad you did.

A Reader’s Story — Libby Baker

Here’s an interesting story from a loyal reader who tried something I haven’t heard much about — a castor oil pack directly on the tumor. I think you’ll find it interesting:

“Hi Bill.

Thanks for the excellent newsletter. I used a small cotton castor oil pack on my breast cancer tumor and included turmeric spread over it. I fell asleep for the night without removing it after the two hours I planned on.

A few days later my breastbone itched and I saw a large vein close to the surface of my skin, running from the top of the tumor to the breastbone and also branching upward. It was dark purple and had multiple smaller veins that looked like they were a bruise with blood under the skin. A thermography test five days later showed a dead tumor with no angiogenisis in the area including under the arm in the lymph glands. The test before shows it completely red, now it’s green (meaning no inflammation). The only thing left red is the vein, as it is now without a purpose, I would suppose.

I can’t wait to get the results from the next Navarro test. Keep up the good work.

God Bless.

Libby Baker”

Here’s the second e-mail from Libby after I asked her if I could share her story with you.

Sure, Bill. I try to tell as many people as I can about what I’m doing. Your book has been a great resource for me to show others about the Budwig protocol I’m on, as well as the many good additions you included for reversing disease and regaining health.

I had been on the Budwig protocol for 7 1/2 months, the first 3 with the cancertutor diet, and then a gradual adding in of more berries and papaya, pineapple, and some grass-fed or free range organic meat[very occasionally].

The thermographer actually jumped up and down and hugged me when she saw the fantastic pictures. The vein has slowly reduced in size and the irritation and bruised-looking areas are gone.

God Bless!

Libby Baker

You can use my name, Bill. I don’t want people to think it’s not true.”

Hope to see you there.

I am an admirer of Dr. Bruce Lipton. His book “Biology of Belief” is one of the pieces of the “jigsaw puzzle” of knowledge about the body/spirit/mind that I have put together over the last 13 years. That’s why I was grateful the other day when my friend Ron Strauss sent me this link to an interesting interview with Dr. Lipton. Here it is:

Bear with the first minute where the are advertising the “Tapping Summit.” The video of Dr. Lipton will then start. In it he talks about some of the concepts from his book about how our cells operate but also talks about stem cell therapy and research, quantum physics and how it affects our lives and lots of other useful information. I think you’ll like it.

Last month you may recall, we talked about the castor oil pack as a useful way to detox the liver. Joy Wharton, one of my loyal readers, was kind enough to send me this link to an interesting article by Dr. Burton Berkson, M.D. who has been working with Alpha Lipoic Acid to detox the liver for 34 years. He’s not a cancer doctor, but still, I think you’ll find it interesting:

If all your study has not convinced you to stop taking medication to heal, maybe reading this article by Mike Adams of Natural News will help you make that decision:

Thank you, Mike Maybury, for bringing this to our attention.
