I’ve had fifteen radio interviews on stations all over the
country so far with seven more scheduled in the next four
weeks. I’ve given one workshop in San Antonio and I have
a book signing at Barnes & Noble next week and three more
workshops in November. You, my beloved readers, are
working on workshops that I know about in California,
Nashville, New Orleans and Miami.
For those of you in the San Antonio area, here are the
specifics on the two November “Beating Cancer — Gently”
workshops in San Antonio:
Wednesday, November 12th, 2003 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Borders
Bookstore at The Quarry. 225 E. Basse Road, Suite 350.
Saturday, November 22nd, 2003 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Unlimited
Thought Live Enhancement Center, 5525 Blanco Road, Suite 107.
Thank you Patty Jones for setting up a workshop for me in
McCamey, Texas (a small, friendly town about five hours up
I-10 West of San Antonio). My wife and I will be going up
on November 16th to appear on a local TV show, staying
overnight in the Mayor’s house (she has cancer), giving
the workshop on Monday night (everyone leaves town for the
weekend) and driving back to San Antonio on Tuesday, November
18th. We’re really looking forward to it.
My project to do 40 workshops and get the attention of a
large publishing house to take on my book is underway. With
your help, we can do this. In the meantime, we can help a
lot of people you know.
I need your help in scheduling more workshops (2 hours to 2
days) in your area. I will do one for any group of 5 or more
people anywhere in the U.S. All you need to do is convince
your group to pay for my travel expenses. I have friends in
lots of cities I can stay with to hold down the cost.
Have the program chairperson contact me by e-mail at
bhenderson@getandstaywell.com or by phone at (800) 551-6209.
I have been a teacher much of my adult life and have given
many talks to groups of up to 600 people. Believe me, I will
not embarass you.
Be sure to tell your friends where to buy the printed book.
I used to tell you that the cheapest and quickest way to
order the “real” book is at the publisher’s web site:
http://www.CureYourCancer.com.
But a few weeks ago, an alert reader found a cheaper version.
For just $13.55 and $2.99 shipping, you can buy it new at:
http://www.beating-cancer-gently.com/cancer-free-your-guide-gentle-non-toxic-healing-fourth-edition/
Of course, the e-book is still available at:
http://www.beating-cancer-gently.com.

Rebounding — Bounce Back To Health!
*************************************
For those of you who have not yet become addicted to exercise
like me, I’d like to pass on a recommendation from one of my
loyal readers. Lynn Miller and her daughter have taken advan-
tage of the “rebounder” and want to pass on their experience.
What is a rebounder? It’s a small, round trampoline that can
easily be used in any living room or bedroom. An adequate one
costs about $180. Listen to Lynn’s enthusiastic endorsement
of this “painless” way to exercise. [As far as I know, neither
Lynn nor her daughter have any financial interest in these
rebounders.]
“Hi Bill, I am really enjoying your website and have learned
so much from it. There is a wealth of information and I sure
wish that more people were aware of it. Because of websites
like yours, I have been able to help my 21 year old daughter
with her cancer, which is Hodgkins lymphoma. She is well on
the road to being cured, Bill!
I wanted to know if you were aware of the healthy benefits
of rebounding? Most people don’t realize that their
lymphatic systems need to be cleansed of toxins on a regular
basis. Rebounding is a highly effective way of doing this.
I did my research and I finally ended up ordering mine/
daughter’s from:
http://www.evolutionhealth.com
Just wanted to pass this information on to you Bill.
In Good Health, Lynn Miller”
Thanks, Lynn. Take a look at this as an option to joining
a gym, getting up to speed on aerobic and weight-bearing
exercise, etc. You can even watch TV while you’re rebounding.
The bouncing might even improve the image a little.

“Have Another Shake And French Fries…”
*****************************************
As most of you know, my five years of continuing research on
the causes and treatments for cancer have convinced me of one
thing. The cause of 95% or more of all cancers is what we put
in our mouth. If you look at the rise of the incidence of
cancer in this country and the rise in our consumption of
processed food, the curves are almost exactly parallel.
All of us need to be reminded frequently of what the choices
being urged on us and our families by advertising every day
have in them. I was startled to read the following account
recently of the contents of something as innoccuous as a
Burger King strawberry shake.
“To show what is being hidden from us and is right under
our nose, consider these ingredients used in a Burger
King strawberry milk shake, but which are not disclosed
because they are GRAS (in FDA’s Generally Recognized As
Safe category):
Amyl acetate, amyl butyrate, amyl valerate, anethol, anisyl
formate, benzyl acetate, benzyl isobutyrate, butyric acid,
cinnamyl isobutyrate, cinnamyl valerate, cognac essential
oil, diacetyl, dipropyl ketone, ethyl butyrate, ethyl
cinnamate, ethyl heptanoate, ethyl lactate, ethyl methyl-
phenylglycidate, ethyl Nitrate, ethyl propionate, ethyl
valerbate, heliotropin, hydroxyphrenyl-2butanone (10%
solution in alcohol), a-ionone, isobutyl anthranilate,
isobutyl butrate, lemon essential oil, maltol, 4-methyl-
acetophenone, methyl anthranilate, methyl benzoate, methyl
cinnamate, methyl heptine carbonate, methyl naphthyl ketone,
methyl salicylate, mint essential oil, neroli essential oil,
nerolin, neryl isobutyrate, orris butter, phenethyl alcohol,
rose, rum ether, g-undecalactone, vanillin, and solvent.
To make this even more alarming, the ingredients listed here
are only for the ‘strawberry flavoring’ in a Burger King milk
shake. This doesn’t include the ice cream or anything else
in the shake!
Can you imagine what the ingredient list for Neapolitan ice
cream would look like?”
The above is an excerpt from an article entitled “You Are
What You Eat – Processed Foods” by Paul Chek. The article
is in turn an excerpt from the newly released nine-hour
CD/Workbook program “You Are What You Eat” by Paul Chek.
Here’s some more interesting info about our alarming food
supply from Mr. Chek:
“It is time to enlighten you with regard to what some of
these ingredients are and what they can do to you. The
gigantic and often strange words listed as ingredients
(where food items are supposed to be!) are various concoc-
tions used to color, stabilize, emulsify, bleach, texturize,
soften, preserve, sweeten, add or cover smells, and flavor!
In case you were wondering just how many of these little
chemicals were sneaking into your mouth each year, current
statistics say that the FDA lists approximately 2,800 inter-
national food additives and about 3,000 chemicals, which are
deliberately added to our food supply. When considering the
number of chemicals used in the process of growing and pro-
cessing food, by the time it reaches our stomach we have
consumed between 10,000 and 15,000 chemicals a day!
While some of you may be thinking, ‘I don’t eat that many
food additives,’ I have news for you. The FDA doesn’t require
food additives considered to be Generally Regarded as Safe
(GRAS) to be put on an ingredients label.
Instead, all that is required are the words ‘artificial
flavor’ or ‘artificial coloring’ or ‘natural.’ The fact is,
the average American eats approximately his/her body weight
in food additives each year, or approximately 150 pounds;
this statistic is roughly the same for most English speaking
countries.
Of this amount, 15 pounds or more will be used as flavoring
agents, preservatives and dyes, many of which are considered
GRAS by the FDA. Before you get comfortable with chemicals
considered to be GRAS, you should realize that to save time
and money, the FDA allows the food and additive manufacturers
to notify them of the GRAS status of their additives and they
are allowed to provide their own evidence to support their
claim. Think about that for a moment.
Having the chemical manufacturers provide their own research
showing a given chemical is safe is like asking a cigarette
manufacturer to do their own research showing cigarettes are
safe! It’s no wonder that this takes place when billions of
dollars are at stake and the health of the average person is
unimportant.
The fact of the matter is food and additive manufacturers,
like drug manufacturers, are running the largest study ever
run in history – and you are the guinea pigs! That’s right.”
There’s lots more, but you get the idea. If you’re interested,
just look up Paul Chek’s name on amazon.com or google. Get his
CD/Workbook and get smart about your eating habits. It will
literally save your life.
As for french fries with that shake, many of you will remember
a blurb in this rag on this subject last year. For the hundreds
of new readers since then, let me just repeat that item:
“Acrylamide, a proven carcinogen (cancer causing agent),
is only allowed in your drinking water at a level of 0.12
micrograms per serving by the Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA). McDonald’s French Fries, large, 6 oz. serving,
contain 72 micrograms or 600 times the EPA limit. Burger
King, Wendy’s, KFC, etc. are just slightly lower.”
Please, if you have cancer, have ever had it or would like to
avoid it, start today to eat 80% of your food raw. That single
change will contribute remarkably to your continued health and
longevity. Works for me!

A Reader’s Story
*****************
For those of you considering conventional treatment for your
cancer, I hope Denise’s sad story of her husband’s ordeal will
help you decide to try the “alternative” treatments we discuss
here before you embark on the “conventional treatment downhill
slide.” By the way, Denise now has my book and I am praying
that it will help her save her husband’s life.
“I have been reading your newsletter for quite some time now.
I was unable to download your book but saw your request for
cancer stories.
My husband was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in Jan. 1999.
Since then he has had nine months of chemotherapy, ABVD,
followed by thirty days of radiation therapy. He went into a
short remission and then the cancer showed up again on his CAT
scan.
From there he went through a stem cell transplant utilizing his
own stem cells. Unfortunately, after going through the hell of
a transplant, the results were poor. The transplant had shrunk,
but not killed, the cancer. My husband has just finished a year
on another chemo drug, vinblastine; he has had to stop this treat-
ment because it has ceased to work and the cancer is once again
growing.
From there he has started with still another chemotherapy treat-
ment; cytoxin and VP-16. According to the doctors my husband’s
only hope is another bone marrow treatment with a donor. Unfor-
tunately one has yet to be found.
We have lost hope in the doctors’ ability to help and are not
exactly thrilled with our hope being in another transplant. I
hate this overwhelming feeling of helplessness. I feel as though
I am failing to help my husband. I read your newsletter hoping
for another answer, for hope, for a chance at my husband getting
his life back.
Keep spreading the hope. There has to be better answers out there
than the damaging chemotherapy, radiation therapy and bone marrow/
stem cell transplants.
Sincerely,
An agonizing wife, Denise”
I have asked Denise to update me on her husband’s progress once
they have begun following one or more of the regimen’s I
recommend in the book. And Denise, please reread the item
above about rebounders and Lynn’s daughter’s successful recovery
from Hodgkins lymphoma using one. Stay tuned…and keep Denise
and her husband in your prayers.

BRIBERY — IT’S WORKING
Once again, I would like to offer you a bribe to get you to
send me your story of your cancer treatment. If you send me
your story — positive, negative or neutral, I’ll send you a
free copy of my “Cure Your Cancer” e-book by return e-mail.
VACATION WITH A PURPOSE
My friend, Dr. Dale Bigelow, sent me the following the other
day. I thought some of you might be interested in it.
“I thought you’d be interested in this, I sure am! It’s a
Holistic Conference At Sea for 7 nights in the Caribbean that
sets sail February 29th 2004. They’re calling it a ‘Vacation
With A Purpose.’
You can find out more about the cruise over at:
http://www.atasteofhealth.org/
You can let people know about it the same way I did by
going to:
http://www.at-taste-of-health.org/cgi-bin/tellafriend.cgi
It’s really easy… Ah the marvels of modern technology.
If you can’t make it I’m sure your health conscientious
friends I haven’t met would Love to know about this.
Let them know. There’s limited space on the ship for this
event and cabins are going fast.”
Thanks, Dr. Bigelow. I know some of you will be interested
in this cruise. The lineup of workshop presenters is im-
pressive. Scott Ohlgren, Sherry Rogers, Burton Goldberg,
Verne Verona, et al. Check it out.
In case you have wondered at the spartan simplicity of the
format of this newsletter, it apparently is perfectly
appropriate. A dear reader who is a technical writer for the
Web and much more knowledgeable about “style” issues than I
will ever be, has assured me that this format is the most
appropriate for an e-mail newsletter — simple text with lines
no longer than 65 characters. Most of you will notice that the
web links in this newsletter are highlighted in blue. Clicking
on them will open your browser and take you to that site. If
they are not highlighted (a la AOL), you may need to “copy and
paste” them into your browser. You’ll have to do the same if
you go to my newsletter archives at my web site…”copy and
paste.”
I’ll be back sometime soon with another newsletter. Be
well and send your friends to my web site:
