Welcome to this 132nd issue of my newsletter. About 24 months of past issues are available at this web site. Just click on the “Newsletter Archive” link on the left of the screen. The articles tend to be “timeless,” so read or reread some of them at your leisure.

Swine Flu Vaccine Dangers

I have been hearing so much lately about the dangers inherent in the new Swine Flu Vaccine that I felt I had to pass it on to you. If you had read everything I had in the last couple of months, you’d be tired of hearing about this by now. But I know that many of you depend on me to give you warnings about thing like this, so here goes:

I suggest you listen to the Jane Burgermeister interview. This brave lady has taken on both the U.S Government and the Austrian Government in her battle to inform people of the dangers of this H1N1 vaccine. She is a professional journalist living in Vienna who has sued both governments and Baxter International and a related Austrian company over their distribution of a horribly fatal vaccine earlier this year. Give this one a listen:

Jane Burgermeister Vaccine Interview

If you’re like me, you are prepared to defend yourself from any crazy attempt by our state or federal governments to make this vaccine mandatory. ‘Nuf said.

Got Prostate Cancer? Try Rosemary and Applesauce

As usual, I am enthralled with the correspondence I get from you, my loyal readers. Here’s one that takes the prize this month for a truly new healing treatment for prostate cancer. Here’s the e-mail I got from Dr. Larry Von about his brother.

My brother was diagnosed with prostate cancer, with a PSA [Prostate Specific Antigen blood test] of 350 [‘normal’ is 4 or less]. After he had decided to do the prostatectomy [cut out the prostate,] I suggested that before the operation, he try rosemary. The regimen was one teaspoon of dried rosemary mixed with applesauce, taken three times per day. He did indeed. Luckily his operation was postponed for some time because the doctor had a conflict. He took the regimen for three weeks.

Before the operation he was scheduled to have a follow-up PSA. The PSA came back at two (2)! They cancelled the operation, thank God, and did another biopsy. Came back negative. The doctor attributed this sudden change of results as a ‘lab error’ (both the original PSA, and the original biopsy!). Rosemary evidently was the primary constituent for his change in status. This was one year ago. He continues the regimen, and his PSA is still two (2)!!

Larry Von”

Thank you, Dr. Larry, for a great story. I know there are at least 350 different natural treatments which have healed cancer over the last hundred years, but I’d never heard of this one. It is so simple and inexpensive that I am trying it myself. I have only taken it for a couple of weeks, and I have to confess I don’t eat it three times a day. I’ve averaged about twice a day. I am pretty sure I don’t have prostate cancer, but it seems to have improved the symptoms I have of an enlarged prostate, which most men my age suffer from.

Since I publicized this treatment by including an account of it in the talk I gave at the Cancer Control Society’s Convention this month, I’ve heard from Ron Gagne, a Master Herbalist, who sent me some information on rosemary’s known features. It seems it has many times the antioxidant power of Vitamin C. It is a “COX-2 inhibitor” and “slow, anti-inflammatory pain reliever.” In other words, it is performing the same function as Vioxx (the drug that killed 60,000 people before it was finally removed from the market), Bextra, Celebrex and Dilemma. If you’re taking any of these popular drugs, you really need to look into this one. I never recommend that people stop taking prescription medications. This is strictly between you and your doctor. Just think about it…..

Ron also says that rosemary stimulates blood flow to the brain and nervous system. He says it is “also useful in gout and scalp problems like dandruff. It conditions dry, flaky hair, alleviates water retention, treats depression, improves cardiovascular weakness, improves general debility, relieves muscle and joint pain, relieves asthma and allergy symptoms, helps improve memory, promotes the flow of bile, relieves uterine spasms and menstrual cramps.” Wow!! If it only does half that, doesn’t it appear that everyone should try it?

Check it out, guys and gals. Guys, your wife or significant other probably has some of the dried rosemary herb in her spice cabinet. I know mine did. Why not try it? It certainly can’t hurt you.

Orgain — A Really Great Source of Safe Protein

One of the most common questions I get is “What can I eat to replace the animal protein?” Most of us have been conditioned that meat, chicken, fish and eggs are necessary every day for health. Of course, that is not true, but habits and beliefs are difficult to change. The fact that spinach is 42% protein (the highest of the many green veggies that contain protein) just doesn’t cut it with us meat lovers.

I’ve recommended people healing their cancers try to find a good whey protein powder. But finding one that is unadulterated with MSG and sugar (high fructose corn syrup) is difficult, at best.

Finally, a couple of weeks ago, I heard from an M.D. who seems to have solved this problem for us. Here is his e-mail message:

“Hi Bill,

Hope you are doing well.

I spoke with you last year regarding my dad’s renal cell cancer. He was stage IV and I read your book and purchased your coaching which helped us find a great naturopathic doctor here on the West Coast who has been instrumental in his full recovery.

I wanted to share something special with you. My father was losing quite a bit of weight during his treatment, etc. with cancer and couldn’t tolerate any food very well. This led me to develop the World’s First Certified Organic Ready-to-Drink Meal Replacement drink that I have been working very hard on. We use the only the best organic ingredients and the taste is unparalleled! We have a great organic fruit and organic veggie blend in it with the antioxidant equivalent (ORAC value) of 10 servings of fruits and vegetables!

If you know anyone that needs extra nutrition and wants to avoid all those other ready-to-drink shakes which are extremely high in sugar (e.g. Ensure, Boost, etc.), please pass along my website to them

If you feel that many would be interested, I can give you a free shipping promo to give to your readers.

I continue to read your newsletters and look forward to speaking with you soon!

In good health,

Andrew Abraham”

Well, thank you Dr. Abraham. I’ve ordered some of the Orgain. It looks great, but I have not yet been able to taste it. It looked like such a great product, however, that I thought I should pass it on to you readers. It won’t break you to try it. As you’ll see at Dr. Abraham’s web site, a case of 12 of the 11-ounce cartons (vanilla or chocolate flavor) costs $42.00. That’s $3.50 per carton. Not cheap. But if it’s as good as it sounds and looks, what a great way to feed your loved ones their protein while avoiding the harmful effects of animal protein (see “The China Study” by T. Colin Campbell, Ph.D, if you don’t think animal protein is harmful).

“The Green Smoothies Diet”

As most of you know, a recipe book is in the works which will have about 60 recipes in it which are consistent with the eating regimen I recommend in my “Cancer-Free” book. It is being put together by Cheryl Miller-Uphoff whose Dad is completely healed of his lung cancer primarily because Cheryl formulated some great recipes for him which encouraged him to stay on the regimen I recommend in my “Cancer-Free” book. Cheryl has had help formulating and testing these recipes from a famous chef in Miami Beach named Peter Cosmoglos. This book will be a great resource. It should be finished in just a few weeks.

But right now, if you want to read a great book that will tell you why and how to permanently adopt “green smoothies” as a staple of your diet, here it is. I was intrigued more by this book than any other I’ve read recently.

The book is available now for $10.17 at It will quickly and painlessly teach you how to make delicious, nutritious green smoothies a regular part of your healthy diet. The book is titled “The Green Smoothies Diet.” It’s really not a diet. I think they used that title because diet books are so popular. This is simply a healthy lifestyle change that is simple and easy.

The author, Robyn Openshaw, has used this approach herself for about 15 years and raised four healthy kids on it. She makes it seem very easy, gives you lots of great recipes and finishes her book with 38 pages of testimonials from green smoothie lovers. Here’s an example:

“I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999. I had a surgery to remove the lump but refused chemo and radiation. I saw a naturopathic doctor and through microwater, stabilizing my pH, and diet, was able to get rid of it. In the spring of 2008 I knew from the symptoms the cancer was back.

I checked my pH, which was so acidic it wouldn’t even read on the paper. I went to see my doctor and he confirmed the readings. I knew the key to getting rid of cancer was a balanced pH. I have a microwater machine, but I knew the fastest way to balance pH is through greens, but it was impossible to eat the amount that I needed.

I’ve been drinking blended greens faithfully since August, 2008 along with the raw food, no dairy, no meat. I was rechecked for cancer in January and there are no signs at all. I feel great, haven’t been sick. I’ve lost weight and am back down to my high school weight and size. I have energy, etc….I could go on and on. My kids can’t believe I’m running around chasing the grandkids like a teenager. The green drink is the best breakfast a person could have.

Because of the positive change in me, about 10 other people have started drinking green smoothies. Ladies at Curves, my husband, my daughter, my husband’s parents, my parents and my friends. And when I go to Sunflower Market, I meet a lot of people, mostly older people, buying kale for their green drink. I smile and think, wow, that’s great!

Terri Barnett
Payson, Utah”

I’m going to get Robyn Openshaw (the Green Smoothies Girl) on my web talk radio show for an interview. She’s really onto something — a simple and easy (quick) way to get all the wonderful benefits of veggies just by changing a few habits. I’ll guarantee you that my wife, Terry, and I will be using some of her recipes when Terry returns from Spain in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I’m going to check out some of the recipes myself. Even a severely incapable cook like me, who barely survives when left to his own devices about preparing meals, can do this.

As Robyn points out, it’s so easy to make these that those of you working full-time can prepare one in the morning and take some to work with you for lunch. A truly priceless book for any cancer patient or anyone trying to avoid it. Check out her web site at

A Reader’s Story — Mike Lansu

Here’s a wonderful story about the effects of dental toxins from Mike Lansu. He has asked me to pass it on to you. Note that Mike has given you his e-mail address at the end.

Friday, May 24, 2008

I’m writing this to help others understand and prevent the harmful effects of conventional dentistry on their health. I went through a living hell for over 2 years before finding the cause and the solution to my mental/emotional and physical problems.

In November of 2006 I had all of my previous dental work replaced with materials that were more biocompatible for my body. I also had 4 areas where wisdom teeth had been extracted cleaned out. The results where amazing and immediate.

Before I had this work done I had what is called “brain fog.” I was also suffering from depression and anxiety, insomnia, and unprovoked thoughts of suicide.

All of this began after I had gone to my dentist of over 20 years and had 4 amalgam fillings done. That was June of 2004. Amalgam is 50% Mercury. Mercury is one of the most toxic substances on the planet. After the fillings were done, I felt sick and just kept getting sicker. The period of time between June 2004 and November of 2006 was the worst period of my life.

1. Emotional problems – I was suffering from depression, anxiety, and unexplained anger.

2. Brain fog – foggy headedness. Similar to having a hangover, but for me it was much worse. I would watch a movie and not comprehend it at all. There were periods of time that I couldn’t account for.

3. Hand tremors – My hands shook constantly. That was a sign of what was going on inside me. My body and mind felt like it was in full race all the time.

4. Weight loss – It makes sense, I guess , for anyone suffering with these problems to lose weight. I lost 25 lbs. I’ve always been on the thin side, so this wasn’t a good thing for me. Feeling like this just ruins the appetite.

5. Insomnia – It got so bad that at one point I didn’t sleep for 5 days. Then came the hallucinations, which is normal for anyone sleeping that little. It was terrifying!!

6. Unprovoked thoughts of suicide – I never got to the point of planning out my own demise. If I had I would have found help. Suicide just seemed like a good idea.

7. Chest pains. It was an ache, a discomfort that no medical professional could explain. That’s why Dr. Hal Huggins wrote a book in 1993 called, ‘It’s All In Your Head.’

8. Chronic fatigue – Before all these symptoms began after getting the 4 fillings done, I had suffered from Chronic Fatigue since childhood. After getting my dental work corrected and changing my nutritional habits, the fatigue has gone away.

Another important factor is toxic dental materials and improper procedures causing auto-immune diseases such as Lupus, Lou Gehrig’s Disease (ALS), Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s and so on, even Alzheimer’s.

The first step is to get educated, and I think the best place is to start with Dr. Hal Huggins website. I had heard bits & pieces about metal fillings, but it was only after doing some research on the Internet and reading some books that my despair changed and I started to have some hope of having good health. Besides the danger of amalgam fillings, you must consider root canals and crowns. No dentist who works toxin-free would do a root canal. The typical crown has a base underneath made of Nickel. Nickel is nearly as poisonous as Mercury.

It was in November of 2006 that I had my dental revision work done. Two days after the procedure the brain fog and thoughts of suicide went away! The rest of the symptoms started decreasing to the point that I’m just dealing with minor sleeping problems. That is a big change in a year and a half. Having the dental work replaced and the wisdom teeth sites (cavitations) cleaned out isn’t all I’ve done to improve my health. I’ve changed how I eat and I’m taking supplements according to the recommendations of Dr. Hal Huggins. This is all being done to help balance my blood chemistry and of course to rid my body of the remaining toxins from the dental work.

For further information on this go to the website for the Preventative Dental Health Association . Just ‘Google’ it. — The International Association of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. A great site to find out more about toxic-free dentistry, the latest news on the struggle to eliminate dangerous dentistry, and for referral dentists and doctors. — This is Dr. Hal Huggins’ website. He is the premier pioneer in this field of safe dentistry and nutrition. He has trained many dentists in his methods and gives dental referrals if you’ll call his office. They will also send you free info, including a great DVD about the dangers and the solutions. Huggins’ site has links to a lot of other good websites.

If you have any questions, please e-mail me. My e-mail address is I’m so grateful that I found the help that I needed. If you’re suffering or you just want to get the toxic materials out of your mouth, there is help for you.

Mike Lansu”

Thank you, Mike for some great “wake-up” information for all of us who have mercury amalgam fillings, root canals, cavitations or nickel in our mouths. By the way, folks, if you want to hear an interview I did with Dr. Hal Huggins last week, just go to my web talk radio show. The access procedure is at my web site (see below) on the Web Talk Radio page.

My friend, Michael Vrentas, has been helping cancer patients heal for several years. He recently retired from his insurance sales job to devote full time to the wonderful experience of helping others heal. Mike has owned two VIBE Machines (now called The Quantum Pulse) for several years. But his passion has been his opportunity to help people learn about a combination he feels is effective for most, if not all, cancers.

Mike encourages people with cancer to try a combination of the same cottage cheese/flaxseed oil combination I recommend along with the product from Fred Eichhorn called Cellect. He has found these two work very well together. You’ll find a good video at this web site where Mike explains his approach.

Mike and I are both members of the Board of Directors of the Independent Cancer Research Foundation. Here’s what Mike says about his favorite combination:

“I believe this protocol to be one of the best alternative cancer protocols in the world, in re-balancing the body from almost any chronic or terminal disease. In some cases, where the damage from the disease or the orthodox medical treatments have damaged the body beyond repair, I’ve seen the protocol able to enhance the individual’s quality of life, (substantially) in as little as two weeks and sometimes even less.”

Take a look at Mike’s website above. He is a sincere healer.

Last month I gave you a preview of the Cancer Control Society Convention over Labor Day weekend in Universal City, California — in a suburb of Los Angeles. Some of you came and I was delighted to meet you there. I gave a 25-minute talk to the assembled multitude (actually only about 180 people) on Monday, September 7th. On Tuesday, I spoke to a gathering of about 70 doctors they call the “Doctors’ Symposium.” It was an interesting experience. I met many natural healers there and shared a lot of information.

Now, those of you who couldn’t attend can purchase DVD’s (videos) of any of the 42 speakers who gave talks like mine over the three days. The prices are reasonable. Each of the videos is priced at $25 with an offer of three for $45. If you’re really interested, you can buy a set of the whole four days, including the Doctors’ Symposium for $395.

To review the speakers’ biographies and their topics and purchase one or more of these, you need to go to:

Just click on the link that says “Biographies and DVDs from the Cancer Control Convention 2009.” You’ll have to print out the order form and send it to them.

Sorry. I mentioned in the August newsletter that audio CD’s of the presentations might be available. They discontinued that this year. A good move, I think, because the slides are an inherent part of most of the presentations. Last year they only had audio CD’s. Now, they seem to have DVDs of the conventions all the way back to 1999.

I am quite familiar with Hallelujah Acres. It is a wonderful healing institution located near where we used to live in North Carolina. I’ve heard a presentation by Rev. George Malkmus, the founder. I was quite impressed with their success in treating all types of degenerative conditions, including cancer. Here’s an e-mail from Donna Wildermuth, one of their supporters, which I received a couple of weeks ago.

“Dear Bill,

I enjoy your newletter very much. Thank you for your dedication in searching out things that will help the unfortunate who have cancer. My sister was a cancer victim.

One thing I have not seen mentioned in your newletters is The Hallelujah Diet. It is a vegan diet consisting of 85% raw food with lots of vegetable juices. The website is The testomonies are almost unbelievable … so many people have been cured from so many different types of disease including cancer.

Please pass this along to your readership.

Donna Wildermuth”

Thank you, Donna. While everyone is exploring eating options, this is certainly a good resource. Read just a few of their many testimonials from cancer patients. I think you’ll be impressed, too.

In my August newsletter, I published a comment on her healing by Rhoda Mead. I had received her e-mail in May of this year. In it, Rhoda, who has since passed away, made the following statement:“Unfortunately, the flaxoil2 list is headed by Sandra Olson, who insists that all supplements are unnecessary and forbidden.” Rhoda was referring to the FlaxSeedOil2 chat group on Yahoo Groups which is moderated by Sandra Olson.

Sandra took exception to Rhoda’s remark and sent me this e-mail on September 18th:

“Hi Bill,

First, I want to congratulate you on your work and the many people you reach through your books, newsletters and radio shows. You have built quite a following and have given many people a chance to deal with cancer in a more positive way.

I appreciated the review that you gave to my website,, soon after I launched it. Thank you for that.

I’m writing today in the hope that you will include this email in your next newsletter in order to correct a statement about me that was part of your August 27th mailing. The statement isn’t true and is misleading in regards to me and the free Yahoo group that I and others moderate, FlaxSeedOil2, where we teach and discuss the healing plan of Dr. Johanna Budwig.

For your new newsletter readers, I want to include that Dr. Budwig was a brilliant bio-chemist and health practitioner who worked directly with patients for fifty years, through the year 2001, helping them to overcome cancer and other diseases. She had a high level of success by having her patients follow her anti-cancer diet, [which is a full nutrition program instead of only the flax oil and cottage cheese recipe]. She also emphasized the importance of reducing stress and spending time in the sun for its healing energy and vitamin D production.

In FlaxSeedOil2, we have a long list of testimonials from our members who have overcome advanced and terminal cancers. Many members who have succeeded now answer questions for others who are new to our group.

The statement that was in your last newsletter was part of a note from Rhoda Mead. She wrote:

‘First time, you headed me toward the Budwig protocol. Unfortunately, the flaxoil2 list is headed by Sandra Olson, who insists that all supplements are unnecessary and forbidden.’

Bill, I want you and your readers to know that none of us who answer questions in the FlaxSeedOil2 Yahoo group insist or state that supplements are unnecessary or forbidden. Instead, we present what Dr. Budwig wrote in her books and articles, plus what has been shown by recent research and what has worked or not worked for other members. We often discuss which supplements are compatible with the Budwig plan. We’ve also had the help of an excellent doctor who posted many explanations of various interactions of nutrients. People then decide for themselves.

It’s true that Dr. Budwig made it clear in her books that she was not fond of man-made supplements and believed in healing with whole, natural, rejuvenating foods. In 1999, she also warned against consuming high amounts of supplemental antioxidants. I and others let people know that as well as adding newer research that supports her statements. However, I don’t ‘insist’ or ‘forbid’ when it comes to supplements.

Kind regards,

Sandra Olson”

Sandra, I certainly apologize — on my behalf and Rhoda’s. The FlaxSeedOil2 chat group has helped thousands of people heal their cancers since it began seven years ago. Current membership in the group is over 7,800. Sandra, you can be very proud of what you and your compadres have done through this group for cancer patients all over the world. Keep up the great work.

If you want to explore or join this chat group, just go the web site and type in FlaxSeedOil2 in their Search window.

Most of you have read the summary of the results of the survey done by Canadian researchers of users of the so-called “Bill Henderson Protocol.” Because a couple of key people were on vacation in August when I was putting that message together, I failed to get these key people to proofread my message. I made a couple of mistakes. Here are the corrections.

First, I said that Dr. Aileen Burford-Mason is the “Director of Research at the Holistic Health Research Foundation of Canada.” The fact is: Dr. Aileen Burford-Mason is the Board President of the Holistic Health Research Foundation of Canada.

I also said that Dr. Burford-Mason was “heading up the research.” Here is the fact: “As with all of its research grants, the Board of Directors of the Holistic Health Research Foundation of Canada approved and awarded a grant to the University of Calgary research team to study the BHP [Bill Henderson Protocol], following a peer-review process involving independent expert reviewers.”

My apologies to our Canadian friends for my goofs.

Although many alternative medical treatments have been successfully used for many years, they are currently not practiced by conventional medicine and are therefore not “approved” and legal (in some States) for medical professionals to prescribe for their patients, although it is legal for individuals to use them at their own discretion. It therefore becomes necessary to include the following disclaimer:

The offerings made by this publication are to be carefully considered by the user. All responsibility regarding the use of alternative treatments rests with the patient. If you have doubts regarding these things, rely on your conventional doctor.
